580) Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the tenth day of May in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred fifty and five Between Thomas Standage of Prince Georges County Planter and Margaret his wife of the one part and George Luxford of Ann Arundell County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Standage and Margaret his Wife for and in Consideration of five Shillings to them in hand paid by the said Thomas Standage the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Have granted Bargained and Sold and by these Presents Do grant Bargain and Sell unto the said George Luxford the following Tract or Parcell of Land being part of a Tract called the North Addition of Doe Park and part of another Tract called Doe park and part of another Tract called the Addition Beginning at a Scrub White Oak standing in the given line of the Tract called the North Addition of Doe park North forty Eight Degrees West one hundred perches from the Original Beginning of the said Land Running thence south twenty seven Degrees west one hundred and sixteen perches North seventy five Degrees west sixty two perches North West one hundred and Forty Perches North Sixty Perches North Eleven Degrees East forty Perches North FIfty one Degrees East forty perches North Seventy Degrees East thirteen Perches then with a Straight line to the Beginning Tree containing one hundred and Sixty Eight Acres More or less lying and being in S.t Marys County in the Province of Maryland af.d with all Buildings Improvements profits advantages and appurtenances unto the said One hundred and Sixty eight acres of Land belonging or anyways appertaining To have and to hold all and singular the premisses with the Appurtenances unto the said George Luxford his Executors Administrators or assigns from the Date of these presents for and during and untill the full End and Term of one year from hence next ensuing shall be fully Compleat and Ended Yeilding and paying therefore one Ear of Indian Corn if required to the intent that by Virtue of these presents and by Force of the Statute for Transfering Uses in Possession the said George Luxford May be in Actual Possession of all and singular the Premisses before mentioned and be enabled thereby to Dock and Barr cut off and Extinguish all Estates Tail and all Revertions and Remainders thereon expectant or depending of and in the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments herein before mentioned In Witness Whereof the parties to the above Deed have hereunto Set their hands and seals Day and Year above Written |
