535) Subscribe his Name 6 sides Recorded April the 1.st 1755 Geo Steuart Ex.d This Indenture made the Eleventh day of March in the twenty Seventh Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and fifty four Between James John^son^ of the City of Glasgow ^in^ North Britain Merchant now Residing in London of the one part and Walter Ewer and John Ewer of Love Land London Merchants of the other part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of Two Thousand Six hundred and four pounds of lawful Money of Great ^Britain^ to the said James Johnson in hand paid by the said Walter Ewer and John Ewer at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he the said James Johnson doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of Every part thereof doth acquit Release and Discharge the Said Walter Ewer and John Ewer their Executors Administrators and assigns and Every of them for Ever by these presents he the said James Johnson hath Bargained and Sold and by these presents doth Bargain and sell unto the said Walter Ewer and John Ewer and their Heirs All that undivided fourth part or share of him the said James Johnson (the whole into four parts to be divided) Of and in All those Several Tracts or Parcells of Lands Hereditaments and premisses Scituate lying and being in Baltimore County in the province of Maryland in America formerly Purchased by Alexander Lawson James Russell and James Wardrop of Maryland af.d Merchants and by the said James Johnson of and from Daniel Dulany late of Maryland af.d Merchant and of other persons there and now held by them the said Alexander Lawson James Russell and James Wardrop and James Johnson in undivided fourth parts as Tenants in common and also of and in all the Several Mines Oars and works in upon or belonging to the said Lands and Hereditatments or some part or parcell thereof and commonly called or known by the Name of ^the^ Notingham Ironworks together with all Houses Tenements Erections Buildings Cattle Forges Oar Goods Utensils Implements Live and Dead Stock and Negroes or other things whatsoever belonging to the said Lands and Ironworks or any part thereof or thereupon used worked or enjoyed by whatsoever Name or Names Description or Descriptions the Same are or may be Described called or known and also of and in allways Waters Water Courses Plantations Trees Woods Underwoods Commons Common of Pasture Mines Oar Goods Profitts Commoditys Rights Libertys Advantages Hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the Said Messuages Lands Tenements Iron works Negroes Hereditaments and Premisses and any part or parcell of them belonging or in any wise appertaining or with them or any of them used occupied possessed or Enjoyed and the Reversion or Reversions Remainder (and) |
