525) Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this fourteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and ^fifty five^ Between William Morehouse of Ann Arundell County in the province af.d joiner of the one part and Thomas Hutchcraft of the County and province af.d Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Newhouse for and in Consideration of the sum of thirty pounds Sterling to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Thomas Hutchcraft at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said William Morehouse doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part thereof doth hereby acquit Exonerate and discharge and the said Thomas Hutchcraft his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns He the said William Morehouse Hath granted Bargained Sold Alienated Confirmed Remised Released and for Ever quit Claimed and by these presents Doth Absolutely Grant Bargain Sell Alienate confirm Remise Release and for Ever quit Claim unto the said Thomas Hutchcraft his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns all that Tract or parcell of Land called Morehouse Grove lying and being in Ann Arundell County af.d Beginning for the resurvey of the Original Tract at two Bounded Spannish Oakes and a Bounded White ^Oak^ the original Beginning Trees of the af.d Land Running South Sixteen Degrees East forty perches South forty two perches South thirty three Degrees West Eighty perches North Sixty five Degrees West forty Perches North twenty three Degrees East One hundred and three perches then with a Straight Line to the first Beginning Containing and Laid out for fifty acres of Land more or Less and also all these other Tracts or parcells of Land lying Contiguous and adjoining to the af.d Land (Except Three hundred and Fifty five Acres of Land made over by the said William Morehouse to Nicholas Gassaway son of Thomas Beginning at the out Bounds of the whole Resurvey at a Bounded Red Oak the Original Beginning Tree of a Tract of Land called Lammington and Running with the given Line of the said Land [illegible] of the Course thereof North Eighty four Degrees west Sixty Eight Perches South thirty six Degrees East Fifty four Perches North Eighty five Degrees East Seventy ^Eight^ five ps to the Land called Grimes Venture then with the said Land South twelve Degrees East Sixty five Perches then South Eighty two Degrees west One hundred and Seventy five Perches to the Land called the Victory then Bounding on the said Land the three following Courses Viz North thirteen Degrees East thirty four Perches North thirteen (Degrees) |
