       such Sum and sums of Money Goods Wares and Merchandizes Debts Effects Estates and things
       whatsoever which they or any of them now doth or do or shall or may hereafter owe or stand
       Indebted or hath or have in their or any of their Hands Custody or Possession due owing
       belonging or in any wise Appertaining unto the Estate of the said William Torver deceased
       or to him the said Constituent as Executor as aforesaid whether by Bond Note BIll Book
       Debt Account Consignment or for or by what other reason or means soever nothing
       excepted or reserved And to that end with all and every Person and Persons whom it     
       shall or may Concern to account and to view state settle and adjust all Accounts and
       the Ballance thereof to Receive and upon Recoverys and Receipts in the Premisses to
       give one or more Acquittances or other Sufficient Discharge in due form of Law But in
       case of Refusal or delay by any person or persons whom it shall or may Concern to
       make and render Just and true Accounts Payment and delivery and Satisfaction in the
       Premisses them or any of them thereunto to Compell by all Lawfull Ways and means
       whatsoever Also if need be to Appear before all Lords Judges and Justices in any Court or
       Courts there to Answer Defend and reply in all Matters and Causes touching or Concerning
       the Premisses to do say Pursue Implead Sieze Sequester Attach Imprison and to Condemn
       and out of Prison again to deliver Also to Compound Conclude and agree by Arbitration
       or otherwise as his said Attorney shall think fit And Generally in the Premisses to do
       Perform and Execute all and whatsoever shall be requisite and Necessary in as full
       and ample manner to all Intents Constructions and Purposes as he the said Constituent
       might or could do if Personally Present with Power to Substitute one or more Attorney
       and Attorneys under him with like or limitted Power and the same again to Revoke
       He the said Constituent hereby Promising to Ratify Confirm and hold for good and valid
       all and whatsoever his said Attorney or his Substitute or Substitutes shall Lawfully do
       or cause to be done in or about the Premisses by virtue hereof This done and
       passed in London afd in the Presence of the under Signed Witnesses
       Sealed and Delivered

                                     October the 14.th 1754  Then came before us the Subscribers two of his
       Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundell County Cap.t Judson Coolidge the
       Subscribing Witness to the aforementioned Power of Attorney and made Oath on the holy
       Evangels of Almighty God that he saw the above named Brian Philpot Sign Seal
       and Deliver the aforementioned Power of Attorney as his Act and Deed for the uses
