       acknowledge and herself to be therewith dully contented and paid Hath
       Given Granted Aliened Bargained sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these
       Presents Doth give grant alien Bargain Enfeoff and Confirm unto the
       said Walter Dulany all that Half of Two Lots of Land in Proportion to
       the Lots of the New Town which was Conveyed to my late Husband
       James Walker by Robert Gordon of Annapolis aforesaid Merchant lying
       in the New Town aforesaid & Beginning at the Northermost Post of William
       Dainty's Lot & in the Lines of Capt.n Gordons Lot thence running North
       twenty Degrees East five Perches then South twenty Degrees West five Perches
       to the said William Dainty's Lot and bounding on the same by a Streight
       Line to the first Post Containing One half Acre of Land which ^said^ Lot of Ground
       lies between the Lot whereof John Bullen now dwelleth and the Lot
       whereon Simon Duff lately dwelt but is now in the Possession and
       Occupation of the said Walter Dulany Together with all the Houses
       Buildings & Improvements thereunto belonging or in any wise
       appertaining To have and to hold the aforesaid half Acre of Land
       and Premisses together with all the Buildings and Improvements
       thereon unto the said Walter Dulany his Heirs and Assigns for Ever
       Together with all Rights Benefits & Priviledges thereunto belonging
       or in any wise appertaining And the said Elizabeth Macleod doth
       hereby for herself her Heirs Executors & Administrators further
       Covenant and agree to & with the said Walter Dulany his Heirs and
       Assigns that the said Walter Dulany his Heirs and Assigns shall
       and may for Ever hereafter peaceably and quietly have hold use occupy
       and Enjoy the aforesaid half Acre of Land and Premisses with all
       the Buildings and Improvements thereon with their & every of their
       Appurtenances free and clear of & from all Incumbrances whatsoever
       And further the said Elizabeth Macleod for herself & her Heirs the said
       half Acre of Land & Premisses with all the Buildings & Improvements
       thereon & every Part thereof against her and her Heirs & against all &
       every other Person whatsoever claiming from or under her & them
       to the said Walter Dulany his Heirs and Assigns shall & will & her Heirs
       shall and will at any time hereafter execute any further or other
       Deed Assurance or Conveyance that shall be devised advised or required
       by him the said Walter Dulany his Heirs or Assigns or his or their
       Counsel learned in the Law for the further & better Assurance of the
       Premisses to the said Walter Dulany his Heirs and Assigns so as to bar
       in the most effectual Manner any Claim or Demand of her the said
       Elizabeth Macleod or her Heirs or any other Person or Persons claiming
       from or under her or them In Testimony whereof the said Elizabeth
       Macleod hath hereunto set her hand & seal the Day & Year first above
       written                                                   Elizabeth McLeod   seal
       Sealed & Delivered               On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was
       in the Presence of Us             thus Endorsed Viz.t
             Geo Steuart                     Reced of Walter Dulany Sixty Pounds Current
             Rob.t Swan               Money being in full for the Consideration Money
                                           within mentioned Witness my hand this 23.d of
       August 1754                                                            Elizabeth Mc Leod
       Test W.m Linn             August 23.d 1754 Then Came before the Subscriber
       One of His Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named
       Elizabeth Macleod & acknowledged the within Deed according to
