482) to his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to which Payment well and truly to be made and done We and every of us hereby bind our selves and every of us Our and every of our heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and Severally firmly these Presents Sealed with our seals and dated this fourteenth day of August Anno Domini 1754 The Condition of the above Obligation is such That if the above bounden Benjamin Tasker and Daniel Dulany whilst they shall Continue in the Office of Commissary Generall shall at their own Proper Cost and Charge find a Supply of Good and Sufficient Record Books Necessary for the entring up of all matters and things relating to such Commissary's Office and shall and will make or cause to be made and Entered true Legal and Perfect Records and entries according to the Truth and Nature of the matter or thing requiring to be entered or Recorded and shall duly and Carefully look after Sustain Reserve repair and Maintain all the Several Books Papers and Records now being and remaining in the said Office as also all those that from time to time during their Continuance in the said Office shall be added thereunto in such manner that in Case of Death or that they shall be Legally Dismissed from Officiateing longer in the said Office they the said Benjamin Tasker and Daniel Dulany their Executors or Administrators shall Surrender and Deliver up or cause to be Surrendered and Delivered up to the next person who shall succeed them in the said Commissary's Office all the Papers and Record Books now being in the said Commissary's Office in good order and repair with the Records and entries faithfully legally and truly made up and entered during during the time they have officiated in the said Commissary's Office without favour or affection but according to the truth the Nature of the thing and the Duty of their Office and all others the Duties of their said Office legally duly and faithfully shall Discharge According to Law and the true Intent and meaning of the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided Then the above Obligation to be void and of none effect else to be and Remain in full force and Virtue in Law Sealed and Delivered Benj.a Tasker seal in Presence of Dan.l Dulany seal James Keitly Jn.o Ross seal Timothy Clear Walter Dulany seal On the Back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Endorsed Viz.t Then Came James Keith & Timothy Clear Witnesses to the within Bond and made oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court that they saw the within named Obligors Seal & Deliver the within Bond 14.th August 1754 before Jn.o Brice Geo Steuart (you) |
