464 mentioned to be the Right & Estate of Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns for ever Geo Steuart April 30.th 1754 Reced of Doc.r Charles Carroll Four shillings ster for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation Fine on the Within mentioned One Hundred Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 5 sides Recorded May 3.d 1754 Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents that I Christopher Wilson of Graysothen in the County of Cumberland Merchant for and on behalf of my self and John Gill Thomas Wilson and William Woodvill all in the said County of Cumberland in Great Brittain any Copartners in Trade have made and Ordained Authorized Constituted and Appointed and by these Presents do make Ordain ^Authorize^ Constitute and Appoint Jacob Giles James Riggby Robert Foster and Isaac Webster or (any two of them) Living on the Westerein shore in the Province of Maryland in America Merchants our True and Lawfull Attorneys for us and in our names to ask Demand sue for Recover and Receive of Lanceolot Walker David Hull and Nathan Wright in Kent County on the Easterine shore of Maryland or of or from any other Persons whomsoever our Effects may be fallen into the hands of all such sum and sums of Money Goods Wares and Merchandizes Debts and demands whatsoever which now are due and owing or in any wise Belonging to the said Copartners by and from the said Lanceolot Walker David Hull and Nathan Wright or any other Person or Persons whatsoever or whomsoever Residing in any part of America Carolina or any of his Majestys Plantations and in Default of Payment thereof by Attachments Arrests Action Suit Entry Execution Distress or otherwise and to Compound and agree for the same in the name said Christopher Wilson and Company or otherwise for the Recovery thereof and on Receipt thereof Acquittances or other sufficient Discharges for the same for us and in the name of the Company to make seal and Deliver and to do all Lawfull Act and things Whatsoever Concerning the Premisses as fully in every Respect as the said Company might or could do if they were then and there ^Personally^ Present and Attorney or Attorneys under them or any two of them for the Purposes afs.d to make and Authorize (in) |
