Ex.d This Indenture made the Twenty ninth day of March in the Year of our Lord One
       Thousand seven hundred and fifty four Between Thomas Hodgkin of Prince Georges County in the
       Province of Maryland of the one part and Mess.rs William Torver Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph
       Janson of London Merch.ts Assignees of John Philpott and John Hutchingson late Merchants of London
       of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Hodgkin for and Consideration of six hundred
       and fifty Pounds Eighteen shillings and five Pence Sterling Money of Great Britain Justly due and
       owing from the said Thomas Hodgkin to the said John Philpott and John Hutchingson late
       Merchants of London as by his Deed of Assignment bearing date in London the fourth day of June
       in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty recourse being thereunto ^being^ had
       will Appear the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Given Granted Bargained sold
       Assigned and made over and by these Presents Doth Bargain Give Grant and sell Assign and
       Make over unto the said William Torver Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson their
       heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever All that Tract of Land called Renchers
       Advantage Scituate lying and being in Prince Georges County aforesaid Containing by
       Estimation One thousand Acres more or less One Tract of Land Called Gardiners Purchase
       lying and being in Charles County afs.d Containing by Estimation One hundred Acres more or
       less One Tract of Land Scituate lying and being in Charles County ^called^ Pheasant Neck
       Containing by estimation fifty Acres more or less One Tract of Land called Brooke field lying
       and being in Prince Georges County afs.d Containing by estimation One hundred and twenty
       Acres more or less also one negro man Called Cesar aged fifty Years or thereabouts One
       Negro man Called Jack aged Twenty One Years or thereabouts One negro Man Called
       Little Jack Aged Twenty Years or thereabouts One Negro Woman Called Hester aged
       forty Years or thereabouts One Negro Woman Called Sarah aged thirty Years or thereabouts
