44) Charles Carroll by John Bradford Son and Heir of the said Major John Bradford Deceased as by Deed Recorded in the Land Records of the Provincial Office bearing date August the twenty sixth Anno Domini seventeen hundred and thirty four And also (as a further Surety) was Conveyed unto the said Doctor Charles Carroll by the said John Bradford and Ann his Wife as by another Deed Recorded in the Land Records of the Provincial Office bearing Date March the twenty ninth Anno Domini seventeen hundred and thirty six And also (as a further Surety) was Conveyed unto the said Doctor Charles Carroll by Michael Taylor and Margaret his Wife as by Deed Recorded in the Land Records of the Provincial office bearing Date July ^the^ Nineteenth Anno Domini seventeen hundred and thirty Eight and was Conveyed unto Nicholas Maccubbin by the said Doctor Charles Carroll as by Deed Recorded in the Land Records of the Provincial Office bearing Date August the Eighth Anno Domini seventeen hundred and forty Eight Now Know Ye that for and in Consideration of the Sum of One Hundred Pounds Sterling to the said Nicholas Maccubbin in hand Paid by the said Richard Snowden Junior the Receipt whereof the said Nicholas Maccubbin Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and every part thereof Doth fully Acquit Exonerate and Discharge him the said Rich.d Snowden Junior his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for Ever hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Richard Snowden Junior his Heirs and Assigns for Ever All that Piece or Parcel of Land situate lying and being as before Expressed Beginning for the said Piece or Parcel of Land at the Beginning place of the seventh Line of the Land called Addition to Charley Forrest and Bounding on and with the Lines of that Land Running North Sixty Degrees Easterly Two Hundred and twenty perches South East One Hundred and twenty Perches South fifteen Degrees Easterly two hundred and forty Perches South thirty Degrees Westerly One Hundred and twenty Perches South Seventy Degrees Westerly Eighty six Perches North three Degrees and thirty Minutes Westerly Sixty four Perches North five Degrees Easterly two Hundred and twenty Perches North Seventy five Degrees Westerly forty Perches South Eighty Degrees Westerly One Hundred and forty Eight Perches North Eighty five Degrees Westerly fifty two Perches thence by a Streight Line to the first Beginning place Containing and laid out for four Hundred and Nine Acres of Land be the same more or less together with all Rights Issues Profits Emoluments and Appurtenances to the same Incident or any ways appertaining with all and Singular the Houses out Houses Woods underwoods Cultivations Improvements and Hereditaments whatsoever with Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders to the same belonging To have and to hold the said Granted Land with all and Singular the Premisses and appurtenances to the only proper use and Behoof of him the said Richard Snowden his Heirs and Assigns for Ever And the said Nicholas Maccubbin for himself his Heirs and Assigns Doth further Covenant and agree to and with the said Richard Snowden the afs.d Land with the Premisses and Appurtenances for Ever will Warrant and Defend to him the said Richard Snowden his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Nicholas Maccubbin his Heirs and Assigns or any other Person or Persons Claiming or to Claim from by or under them or any or either of them In (Witness) |
