434) On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t On the fifteenth day of November 1753 Came John Howard Son of Benjamin before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Land therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Nicholas Aldridge his Heirs and Assigns for Ever before Jn.o Brice I have received the Sum of Ten Shillings Sterling being the Alienation Fine for the Land within mentioned for the Use of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary 15 Novem.r 1753 Edw.d Lloyd Recorded November 19.th 1753 7 1/4 Ex.d This Indenture made the Eleventh Day of January in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and forty nine Between William Bordley of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Stephen Bordley of the City of Annapolis and Province aforesaid Esquire of the other part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the Sum of three hundred Pounds Current Money of Maryland by him the said Stephen Bordley to him the said William Bordley in hand paid at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof the said William Bordley doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and parcel thereof doth hereby Release Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said Stephen Bordley his Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them by these Presents He the said William Bordley hath Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien Release Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Stephen Bordley his Heirs and Assigns All that Brick House and Lott of Land thereunto belonging Situate lying & being in the City of Annapolis aforesaid and lying on a Street called Francis Street and on the South West side thereof being directly Opposite to and by the said street Divided from a certain Benjamin Fordham's late Dwelling House commonly called the Kentish House which said House and Lott hereby Bargained and Sold or mentioned or intended so to be were lately in the Occupation of a certain Hugh Kennedy of the said City Innholder and also since in the Occupation of a certain Jordan of the City of Annapolis aforesaid Hatter and now in the Tenure and Occupation of the aforesaid William Bordley together with all Messuages Buildings (Edifices) |
