       according to the True Intent and meaning of these Presents and the Act of Assembly in that Case made &
       Provided and at the same time came also Elizabeth the Wife of the said Snowden and being by us privately
       Examined ought of the hearing of her said Husband Acknowledged her Right of Dower and that she did the
       same of her free and Voluntary Consent without being thereto Compelled by any Threats from her said Husband

       and two pence half penny Sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned
       five hundred & fifty ^five^ Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships

Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty third Day of February Anno Dom seventeen Hundred and
       forty Nine fifty Between Nicholas Maccubbin of the City of Annapolis and Province of Maryland
       Merchant of the one Part and Sarah Coale of Frederick County and Province afs.d
       of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Nicholas Maccubbin being Legally and Rightfully
       Possessed of in and to a certain Piece or Parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the late Prince Georges
       County (but that part being now called Frederick County) and bounded as hereafter Described it
       being part of a Tract of Land called Addition to Charley Forrest as by Patent was Granted September
       the sixteenth Anno Domini seventeen Hundred and twenty unto Major John Bradford for
       Fourteen hundred and Seventy Acres and was Conveyed unto Doctor Charles Carroll by John Bradford
       Son and Heir of the said Major John Bradford Deceased as by Deed Recorded in the Land
       Records of the Provincial Office bearing Date August the twenty sixth Anno Domini seventeen
       hundred and thirty four And also (as a further Surety) was Conveyed unto the said Doctor
       Charles Carroll by the said John Bradford and Ann his Wife as by another Deed Recorded in the
       Land Records of the Provincial Office bearing Date March the twenty Ninth Anno Domini
       seventeen Hundred and thirty six and also (as a further Surety) was Conveyed unto the said Doctor
       Charles Carroll by Michael Taylor and Margaret his Wife as by Deed Recorded in the Land
       Records of the Provincial Office bearing Date July the Nineteenth Anno Domini seventeen
       Hundred and thirty Eight and was Conveyed unto Nicholas Maccubbin by the said Doctor
       Charles Carroll as by Deed Recorded in the Land Records of the Provincial Office bearing
       Date August the Eighth Anno Domini seventeen hundred and forty Eight Now Know
       Ye that for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seventy five Pounds Sterling to the said Nicholas
       Maccubbin in hand Paid by Samuel Richardson as Guardian of the said Sarah Coale her
       Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for Ever Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold
       Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Enfeoffe
       and Confirm unto her the said Sarah Coale her Heirs and Assigns for Ever All that Piece
       ^or Parcell^ of Land Situate lying and being as before Expressed Beginning for the said Piece or Parcel of
       Land in the Nineteenth Line of the said Addition to Charley Forrest at the End of Two Hundred
       and Ninety three Perches from the Beginning place of said Line and Bounding on and with the
       Lines of the said Addition to Charley Forrest Running West Forty seven Perches to the End of
       the said Nineteenth Line then South twenty Degrees Easterly Eighty Perches then South
       fifteen Degrees Westerly forty Perches then West One Hundred and twenty Perches then North
       West two Hundred and twenty five Perches then North Seventy four Degrees Easterly three
       Hundred and two Perches then North Eighty Degrees and thirty Minutes Easterly fifty
