405) Premisses and be enabled to Accept a Grant of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his Heirs In Witness whereof the Partys to these Presents have thereunto interchangeably put their hands and Seals the Day and Year above Written Sealed and Delivered in Presence of Nich Maccubbin Seal Zach Hood Mary Maccubbin Seal Robert Norris Recorded Sept.r 22.d 1753 5 Ex.d This Indenture made the Eleventh day of August in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty three Between Nicholas Maccubbin of Ann Arundel County Merchant and Mary his Wife of the first part and James Tilghman ^of Talbot County^ Attorney at Law of the Second part and Edward Tilghman of Queen Annes County Gentleman of the third part Witnesseth that the said Nicholas and Mary for the Docking Barring and Cutting off all Estates Tail and Remainders of and in the Messuages Tenement Lands and Premisses herein after mentioned and for the Settling and Assuring of the same to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes herein after limited expressed and declared and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by the said James Tilghman the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged and for divers other good Causes and Considerations them the said Nicholas and Mary in this behalf moving have granted bargained and sold released and Confirmed and by these Presents do grant bargain and sell release and confirm unto the said James Tilghman (in his Actual Possession now being by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made for one whole Year by Indenture bearing date the day before the date hereof and by force of the Statute for Transferring Uses into Possession) and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever Six hundred and fifty five Acres of Plantable Land lying in Queen Annes County being the residue of these Lands lying in the same County called Lloyds Meadows Resurveyed and Lloyds Meadows Addition late in the Tenure and Occupation of Alice Lloyd late of the same County deceased which was Unconveyed and Undevised by the said Alice Lloyd to Philemon Charles Blake of the same County Gentleman and one Messuage thereon being together with all Trees, Woods, Underwoods, Common, Commons of Pasture, Profits, Commodities, Advantages, Emoluments and Hereditaments whatsoever to the Premisses in any wise belonging or appertaining or in or upon the same happening growing or arising and also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents and Services thereof or incident thereunto To have and to hold the said Messuage Tenement Lands and Premisses above mentioned and every part and Parcel thereof with the Appurtenances unto the said James Tilghman and his Heirs and Assigns for Ever (To) |
