386) Our said Province and keep an Exact Register of all their Acts Proceedings and Orders and to do and perform all other Acts usually done by the former Secretarys of our Province aforesaid And do hereby further Impower You or Your said Deputy to take to yourselves the Advantage of granting ordinary Licences in our said Province which did heretofore belong to the said Office of Secretary and to receive all such other Perquisites Fees and Advantages whatsoever to the said Office of Secretary belonging or in any ways appertaining in as full and ample manner as any Person or Persons heretofore have hold or enjoyed or ought to have held and enjoyed the same And do hereby repeal make null and void all former Commissions for the said Office Witness my hand and great Seal at Arms Given at London this Twenty eighth Day of February in the Second Year of our Dominion and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty three The great Seal at Arms in Wax Appendant On the back of the aforegoing Commission was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) Entered in the Office of The Honourable Cæcilius Calvert Esq Secretary of the Province of Maryland in America residing in England Recorded August 13.th 1753 Harman Verelst Assistant 3 1/2 Ex.d This Indenture made the 11.th day of August in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty three Between Edmund Jenings of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the One part and John Brice of the City aforesaid and Sarah his Wife Ariana Margarett Harriss of Kent County and Daniel Cheston and Augustina his Wife in the Kingdom of Great Brittain of the other part Witnesseth that the said Edmund Jenings for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Current Money to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath Granted Bargained Sold Aliened and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien and Confirm unto them the said John Brice and Sarah his Wife Ariana Margaretta Harriss and Daniel Cheston and Augustine his Wife their Heirs and Assigns all that Tract or Parcell of Land Called Frisbys Forrest lying and being in Cecil County in the Province of Maryland Containing Six hundred and fifty (Seven) |
