       Revoke Repeal and make Void all former Commission or Commissions formerly
       given or granted to any Person whatsoever, Strictly Commanding and requiring
       all Persons of what degree or Condition whatsoever to pay ready and due respect
       Submission and Obedience to our said Trusty and Well beloved Horatio Sharpe
       Esq as they will Answer the Contrary at their Utmost Peril Given at London
       under our hand and great Seal at Arms this Seventeenth day of March in
       the Twenty sixth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George the
       Second and in the Second Year of our Dominion over the said Province
       and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and fifty three

       First Roll in the Custody of the Kings Remembrancer

       Maryland and Avalon in America Lord Baron of Baltimore of the
       Kingdom of Ireland To My Beloved Uncle The Honourable Cæcilius
       Calvert Esq Greeting Know Ye That We by virtue of the Powers
       in the Letters Patent from King Charles the First to Cæcilius Baron of
       Baltimore his Heirs and Assigns of the said Province of Maryland &c.a
       Do by these Presents Constitute You the said Cæcilius Calvert to
       Exercise the Office of Secretary of Our said Province of Maryland during
       Our Pleasure hereby authorizing You and giving You full Power to
       nominate and appoint a sufficient Deputy And also authorizing You
       and impowering You or Your sufficient Deputy to be present at all
       Meetings of the Governor and Council and of the Assemblys in that
