368) 28.th May 1753 Jacob Gans Party to the within Deed Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court & Acknowledged the within Deed according to Law Geo Steuart 7 Recorded June 1.st 1753 Ex.d This Indenture made the Seventh day of March in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and fifty three Between Richard Evrett of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Richard Chew of the County of Ann Arundel and Province afsd of the other part Witnesseth that he the said Richard Evrett for and in Consideration of the Sum of Ninety two Pounds Sterling to him in hand paid by the said Richard Chew the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath Given Granted Bargained & Sold and by these Presents he the said Richard Evrett Doth for him and his Heirs Give Grant Bargain & Sell unto him the said Richard Chew his Heirs & Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcel of Land called West Wells Bounded as follows Beginning at a Post of Broad Nashley and running East South East Two hundred and ninety Perches to a Pare Tree of Battsons thence North nine Degrees West Sixty Perches to another Pare Tree of John Battsons thence West North West Two hundred and ninety Perches thence with a streight line to the first mentioned Post Containing One hundred and ten Acres As also all that part of a Tract of Land called Broad Nesly Bounded as follows Beginning at the aforesaid Post of Broad Nasly and running South sixty six Perches to a stone thence West sixty two Perches to a Bounded Hickory of Richard Tuckers thence North fifty three Degrees West One hundred and six Perches to a Bounded White Oak of Richard Tuckers thence North eighty three Perches to a stone of Richard Harrisons thence East One hundred and forty six Perches then with a streight line to the first mentioned Post Containing One hundred and fourteen Acres lying and being in Ann Arundel County afsd Together with all & singular the Dwelling Houses and all other Houses Improvements Conveniencies and Advantages thereon or thereto belonging or in any manner of ways appertaining To have and to hold the Land and Premisses afsd with the Appurtenances unto the said Richard Chew his Heirs and Assigns forever to the only proper Use and Behoof of him the said Richard Chew his Heirs and Assigns and to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said Richard Evrett Doth for himself his Heirs Executors and Adm.rs Covenant Promise Grant and Agree to and with the said Richard Chew his Heirs & Assigns that he the said Richard Ev^e^rett and his Heirs the Land and Premisses afsd with the Appurtenances unto him the said Richard Chew his Heirs and Assigns shall and will for ever Warrant and Defend against the Claim or (Claims) |
