361) Ex.d This Indenture made the first day of March in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty three Between Thomas Cockey of Baltimore County Gentleman of the one part and Oneal Robinson of Ann Arundell County Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Cockey for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said Oneal Robinson at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Bargained and Sold and by these Presents Doth Bargain & Sell unto the said Oneal Robinson his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that part of a Tract or Parcel of Land called Huckleberry Forrest lying in Ann Arundel County and Included in the following lines and bounds to wit Beginning at a Bounded White Oak standing by a Branch called the Woolfpitt Branch and in the line of Lewis's Addition and running with the said line North West by North One hundred and fifty two Perches to a Bounded Pine of the said Addition South eighty one Degrees East Sixty four Perches to a Bounded Pine it being the Southermost Bounded Tree of Francis Meads Land and running with the said Meads line East South East two hundred and fifty Perches to a Bounded red Oak then South West by South Ninety Perches to a Bounded Pine on the side of Cattail Creek then Bounding on the said Creek West by North Sixty eight Perches thence by a streight line to the first beginning Tree Containing and laid out for one hundred and thirty Acres of Land more or less Also all that part or parcel of a Tract of Land called Bare Neck which said Part or Parcel a certain Thomas Cockey deceased Purchased of a certain John Mead as by Deed duly Executed and Recorded Referrence being thereunto had may more at large appear ^Containing One hundred & Seven Acres of Land^ To have and to hold the said several Parcels of Lands with the Appurtenances hereby Bargained and Sold or mentioned or intended to be hereby Bargained and Sold unto the said Oneal Robinson his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the day next before the day of the date of these Presents for during and unto the full end and Term of one whole Year from thence next ensuing and fully to be Compleat and ended To the Intent and Purpose that the said Oneal Robinson may be better Enabled to receive and take a Grant or Release of the Premisses hereby Bargained and Sold to him and his Assigns in such sort manner and form as in and by one Indenture intended to bear date the day next after the day of the date of these Presents the same shall be Granted Released and Conveyed In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and Seals the day and Year first above written Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Tho.s Cockey Seal 5 H Woodward Ja.s Barrance Recorded April 24.th 1753 |
