328) Ex.d This Indenture made the Eighteenth day of December in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and fifty two Between Henry Hall of Ann Arundel County and Elizabeth his Wife of the one Part and Benedict Calvert of the City of Annapolis Esq.r of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Henry Hall and Elizabeth his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Sixty Pounds sterling to them in Hand Paid at or before the ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and Parcell thereof Do hereby Acquit exonerate and Discharge the said Benedict Calvert his heirs Executors and Administrators Have given Granted Bargained and sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Do give Grant Bargain sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Benedict Calvert his heirs and Assigns All that Tract or Parcell of Land lying in Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland called Coole Spring Manor Beginning at a Bounded White oak on the West side of the North Branch of Patuxent River and on the south side of the Mouth of a Branch called Colliers Spring Branch and Runing thence North forty three degrees Easterly sixty eight Perches thence North forty one Degrees Westerly ^one hundred and eleven perches then West & by South Eighty one perches thence South forty four degrees easterly^ fourteen Perches thence south forty One Degrees Easterly fifty two Perches thence south nineteen degrees Westerly one hundred and Twenty Perches thence south East Eig^h^ty five Perches thence with a streight line to the aforesaid Bounded Oak Containing One hundred and Ten Acres of Land more or less together with all and singular the Buildings Improvements and Advantages to the same Belonging and all the Estate Right Title Interest use Trust Property Claim and demand Whatsoever of them the said Henry and Elizabeth of in ^to^ or out of the aforesaid Tract or Parcell of Land with the Appurtenances and the Revertion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every Part and Parcell thereof To have and To hold the aforesaid Tract or Parcell of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto him the said Benedict Calvert his heirs and Assigns for ever and to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said Henry Hall and Elizabeth his Wife Do hereby Covenant Grant and agree to and with the said Benedict Calvert his heirs and Assigns that they the said Henry and Elizabeth shall and will Warrant and for ever defend the said Tract or Parcell of Land of and from all manner of Persons Claiming or to Claim ^by^ from or under them the said Henry and Elizabeth and their heirs or either of them In Witness Whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered Henry Hall seal in Presence of us Eliz.a Hall seal Mord.a Jacob Rob.t Tyler On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed (Viz.t) Reced the day and Year first within Written of the within Named Benedict Calvert the sum of Sixty Pounds sterling Money in full for the Consideration money within mentioned to be by him paid to us Witnesses Henry Hall Mord.a Jacob Eliz.a Hall Rob.t Tyler |
