       April 12.th 1752   Received of Sam.l Molton and Negro Robert the Sum of Eighteen Pounds
       twelve Shillings Currency of Maryland being in full for the within Land and Premisses

       Memorandum That on the twenty first day of March the within named Solomon
       Turner Acknowledged the within Written Deed according to Act of Assembly before Us
       the Subscribers being two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Prince Georges County
       and the same day and time came Jane Wife of the said Solomon Turner and being by Us
       Examined out of the Presents and hearing of her said Husband did Acknowledge that
       she gave her Consent freely and of her own Accord to the within Deed & Premisses
       and did Relinquish all her Right and Title therein of her own free will without any
       fear or threats or Compulsion of her said Husband   As Witness our hands

       Reced for the Use of the Right Honble the Lord of the within Solomon Molton one
9     Shilling & three Pence Sterl.g being for the Alienation fine of the within land this

Ex.d This Indenture made the third day of October in the Year of our Lord One
       Thousand Seven hundred and fifty two Between James Mackdonald of Frederick
       County Farmer of one part and Edward Dorsey of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of
       the other part Witnesseth that the said James Macdonald for and in Consideration of
       the Sum of Thirteen Pounds two Shillings Current Money to him in hand paid by the
       said Edward Dorsey before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt
       whereof is hereby Acknowledged he the said James Macdonald Hath Granted Bargained
       Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant Bargain
       Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Edward Dorsey and his Heirs All that
       Tract or Parcel of Land called Mackdonalds Chance lying and being in Frederick
       County Containing One hundred Acres of Land more or less which said Tract or Parcel
       of Land was Granted to the said James Macdonald by Patent bearing date the
       second day of January in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and
       forty nine and all and singular the Houses Buildings Orchards Fences & Meadows
       thereunto belonging and all the Right Estate Interest Claim and Demand whatsoever
       of him the said James Macdonald of in and to all and singular the Premisses and
       every part and Parcel of them To have and to hold the said Land & Premisses
       herein before mentioned and intended to be hereby Granted with their and every of
       their Appurtenances unto the said Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       to the only proper Use and Behoof of him the s.d Edward Dorsey his Heirs & Assigns for ever
