309) Hickory then South South East five hundred Perches to a marked Oak near the Branch side then with a streight line to the first beginning Containing and laid out for five hundred Acres more or less And also all that other Tract or Parcel of Land called Yarrowhead lying and being in the same County lying on the North side of the Eastern Branch of Potomack Beginning at a Bounded the North West Corner Tree of George Millers Land and running North North West two hundred and eighty Perches to a Bounden White Oak by a great Meadow side then East North East across the Main Branch two hundred and sixty Perches to a Bounded red Oak on a Level then South South East One hundred and eighty eight Perches to a Bounded Elm by the main Run then down the Run East North East thirty two Perches to a bounded red Oak in the main Branch then South South East eighty Perches to the main Run, then down the Run South East and by South sixty Perches then South by West One hundred and twenty Perches there Intersecting said Stoddarts land he then lived on then with that Line North North West One hundred and fifty six Perches then with a streight line to the beginning laid out for five hundred and six Acres more or less And all other Tracts or Parcels of Lands in Prince Georges County afsd to him the said Joseph Chew belonging or in any wise appertaining Together with all Houses out Houses Mills Orchards Additions and other Improvements to the said several Tracts or Parcels of Lands belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said several Tracts or Parcels of Lands with their Appurtenances unto the said John Goddart and his Heirs for ever to the only Use and Behoof of the said John Goddart his Heirs and Assigns for ever In Witness whereof the said Joseph Chew hath hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and Year within Written Seal'd & deliver'd in the presence of Jo.s Chew Seal Geo Fraser Francis King On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t P Geo County fs July 20, 1752 Then Came before Us Two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Prince Georges County Joseph Chew Party to the within Deed & Acknowledged 6 the same according to y.e directions of y.e Act of Assembly in such Cases made & provided Before Us Geo Fraser Recorded Sept.r 21.st 1752 Francis King Ex.d This Indenture Tripartite made on the Twentieth day of July in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty two Between Joseph New of Prince Georges County Gentleman of the first part John Goddart of the same County Planter of the Second part William Digges of the same County Esq.r of the third part Witnesseth That for divers good Causes & Considerations them thereunto moving it is Covenanted Condescended and Agreed by & between the Partys to these Presents in manner and form following That is to say That the said William Digges at or before the Provincial Court to be held on the Second Tuesday of September next shall Purchase and Sue forth out of the high Court of Chancery of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary one ^Original^ Writ of Entry Sur Disseisin en le Post against the said John Goddart returnable before the Justices of he said Provincial Court at a certain time in the said Writ to be ment.d & thereby shall Demand against the said John Goddart all the Lands Scituate lying and being in Prince Georges County called or known by the Name of Yarrow & Yarrowstead or by whatsoever Name or Names the same hath or may be called or known or as part Parcel or Member thereof hath been Reputed Esteemed or taken or hath at any time been Used Occupyed and Enjoyed as part or Parcel thereof Containing in all by Estimation One Thousand Acres ^be the same^ more or less by certain Names Number of Acres & Quantity (of) |
