298) Ex.d This Indenture made the thirteenth day of February in the twenty fifth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c And in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty two Between William Tower of Lime house in the County of Middlesex Merchant Bartholomew Pomeroy of Leadenhall street London Linnen Draper & Joseph Janson of London Merchant of the one Part & James Dobbins of London aforesaid Marriner and Captain in the Virginia and Maryland Trade of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Tower Bartholomow Pomeroy and Joseph Janson for and in Consideration of the sum of ten shillings a Piece to and each of them the said William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson in hand paid by the said James Dobbins at or before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge they the said William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson Have and each of them hath bargained and sold and by these Presents do and each of them doth bargain and sell unto the said James Dobbins his Executors Administrators and Assigns All that Piece or Parcell of Ground or Land Containing by Estimation one Acre be the same more or less scituate lying and being in or near Baltimore Town in the County of Baltimore in the Province of Maryland marked out in two Lotts according to the Custom of the said Province and which two Lotts are numbered fifty and sixty together with a large brick Messuage or Tennement on the said Land or Ground Erected & Built which Messuage or Tennement and some part of the Land or Ground hereby ^or^ intended to be hereby granted are now or lately were in the Tennure or Occupation of Captain Michael Hubbard his undertenants or assignes and the rest of the Land Ground and Premisses are now or lately were unoccupyed and untenanted And also all Houses outhouses Barns stables sheds Edifices Erections Buildings Yards Gardens Orchards Lands Meadows Pastures Marsh Grounds Ways Paths Passages Waters Watercourses Trees Woods fences Ditches Proffits Rights Priviledges Members Commodities Advantages Emoluments Hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever on or to the said Piece or Parcel of Land and Ground Messuage or Tennement Heredita^ments^ and Premisses or any part or Parcel thereof belonging or in any wise appertaining or therewith now or heretofore or usually used occupyed or Enjoyed whether the said Land or Ground Messuage |
