       Province aforesaid And Do hereby further Impower you or your said Deputy to take to yourselves
       the Advantage of Granting Ordinary Licences in the said Province which did heretofore belong to the
       said Office of Secretary and to receive all such other Perquisites Fees and Advantages whatsoever to the
       said Office of Secretary belonging or in any ways appertaining in as full and ample manner as any
       Person or Persons heretofore have held or Enjoyed or ought to have held and Enjoyed the same and do
       hereby Repeal make Null and Void all former Commissions for the said Office Given under the
       hands and Seals of the said Lord Baltimore Arthur Onslow and John Sharpe in London this
       Seventeenth Day of August in the Twenty fifth Year of our Sovereign Lord King George the Second &c
       and in the first Year of our Dominion of the said Province Annoq Domini One Thousand Seven
       hundred and fifty one

       To which aforegoing Commission was Annexed the following Deposition and Certificate Viz.t
       Richard Guy of Chancery Lane London Gentleman maketh Oath and saith That he was present and
       as a Witness did see the Right Honourable Frederick Lord Baltimore by the Name Title and Addition of
       Frederick Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
       Baltimore &c.a and also Arthur Onslow Esquire by the Name and Addition of the Right Honoble
       Arthur Onslow Esquire Speaker of the House of Commons and one of his Majestys most Honourable
       Privy Council And also John Sharpe by the Name and Addition of John Sharpe of Lincolns Inn in
       the County of Middlesex Esquire Guardians of the said Frederick Lord Baltimore for and on his behalf
       Seal and as their Acts and Deeds in due form of Law deliver and execute to the Uses and Purposes
       therein mentioned the Paper Writing hereunto Annexed bearing date the Seventeenth day of August One
       Thousand Seven hundred and fifty one and Purporting to be an Instrument under their respective
       hands and Seals appointing the Honourable Cæcilius Calvert Secretary of the Province of Maryland
       during their Pleasure and for such other Purposes as therein mentioned and that he this Deponent as
       a Witness to the Sealing and Delivery thereof by the said Lord Baltimore Arthur Onslow and John
       Sharpe did thereunto Subscribe his Name as thereby it doth and may appear and that the Names
       Hen Roker and Hugh Hamersley the two other Subscribing Witnesses thereto are of the Proper
       hands Writing of them the said Henry Roker and Hugh Hamersley who so Subscribed the same
       in the Sight and Presence of this Deponent in such manner as thereby it doth and may appear

          To all to whom these Presents shall come I Francis Cockayne Esquire Lord Mayor
       of the City of London In Pursuance of an Act of Parliament made and passed in the Fifth
       Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George the Second Intituled An Act for the
       more Easy Recovery of Debts in his Majestys Plantations and Colonies in America do hereby
