       and in such Sort manner and form as the same Ernault and Jane is now intend
       shortly hereafter to Grant Release and Convey the same by Indenture intended to
       bear date the day next after the day of the date of these Presents In Witness

Ex.d This Indenture Tripartite made this eighth day of August in the Year of our
       Lord Christ One Thousand seven hundred and forty nine Between Ernault Hawkins
       of Queen Annes County in the Province of Maryland Planter and Jane his Wife of
       the first part Robert Hawkins of the same County Planter of the second part and
       Absolam Sparks of the same County Planter of the third part Witnesseth that the
       same Ernault and Jane his Wife as well for the Docking Barring and Cutting off
       all Estates Tail Reversions Remainders and all other Estate and Estates Terms and
       Interests whatsoever heretofore Created Limitted or Declared of for in or concerning
       all that Plantation and Tract of Land called Brampton Situate lying and being in
       Queen Annes County afs.d and upon Chester River Beginning at a marked Oak
       being the Bounded Tree of a Parcel of Land formerly laid out for George Read and
       running down the River One hundred and twenty five Perches to a marked Oak from
       thence South Ewast three hundred and twenty Perches thence North East untill it Intersect
       the Land of George Read and Bounded on the North with Reads Land on the West with
       Chester River laid out for and Containing twop hundred and fifty Acres more or less
       and for the settling and Assuring the same Plantation and Tract of Land called
       Brampton with teh Appurtenances to and for the Uses Intent and Purposes herein
       and hereby after limitted expressed mentioned and declared as for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of Sixty eight Pounds four Shillings Current Money of Maryland
       afs.d and eight Thousand six hundred and eighty Pounds of Tobacco unto the same
       Ernault and Jane his Wife by the afsd Robert Hawkins and Absolam in hand
       already paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged and for divers other good
       Causes and Bluable Considerations them the said Ernault and Jane his Wife
       thereunto moving Have Granted Remised Released and Confirmed and by these
       Presents Do Grant Remise Release and Confirm unto the same Robert Hawkins
       (in his Actual Possession now being by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof
       made for one Year by Indenture bearing date the day next before the day of the
       date of these Presents and by Virtue of the Statute made for Transferring Uses
       into Possession) amd to his Heirs and Assigns all teh afs.d Plantation and Tract
       of Land called Brampton Containing two hundred and fifty Acres of Land
       more or less with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging To have & to hold
