171) these Presents Do and each and every of them Doth make ordain authorize constitute and appoint Richard Lloyd of Saint Pauls Parish in Kent County aforesaid Esquire and James Calder of Chester Town aforesaid Gentleman Jointly and each of them Seperately their True and Lawfull Attorneys and Attorney irrevokable within such time as the Laws of the said Province direct to appear for them the said Joseph Nicholson Benjamin Nicholson and Margaret his Wife Samuel Nicholson and Elizabeth his Wife and to Acknowledge the Indentures or Deeds of Lease and Release hereto Annexed before the Resident Governor of the said Province or before some other of the Cheif Judges for the time being of some one of the Courts of Justice within the said Province (the said Indentures or Deeds of Lease and Release bearing date the eighth and ninth days of March Instant and Purporting to be a Conveyance from the said Joseph Nicholson and Hannah his Wife the said Benjamin Nicholson and Margaret his Wife and Samuel Nicholson and Elizabeth his Wife unto and to the Use of his Excellency Samuel Ogle Esquire and Benjamin Tasker Esquire therein named and described their Heirs and Assigns of a part of a Tract of Land called Nicholsons Mannor lying in Baltimore County containing about Four Thousand two hundred Acres Together with all Woods Woodlands and Underwoods being parcel of or Comprised within the said four Thousand two hundred Acres upon the Trusts in the same Indenture of Release mentioned) And also for them the said Joseph Nicholson Benjamin Nicholson and Margaret his Wife Samuel Nicholson and Elizabeth his Wife and in their Respective Names and as their respective Acts and Deeds but to the Use of the said Samuel Ogle and Benjamin Tasker their Heirs and Assigns upon the Trusts herein before mentioned or referred to to Sign Seal Deliver Acknowledge and Execute all such other Instruments in Writing and to do every other Act matter and thing whatsoever which shall be Necessary fitting or expedient to the full legal effectual and compleat Execution Acknowledgment and Irolment or Recording in due time of the said Deeds of Lease and Release or of any other Deed or Deeds of the like Tenor or Purport to the like Uses upon the like Trusts and of the same Premisses therein mentioned although the same should be Conveyed in other or different Forms or Terms and although the Premisses in such other Deed or Deeds should be differently or otherwise described the better to ascertain the same as fully amply and beneficially to all Intents Constructions and Purposes whatsoever as the said Joseph Nicholson Benjamin Nicholson and Margaret his Wife Samuel Nicholson and Eliz.a his Wife might or could do if present and did the same Personally so that there may be made a good and perfect Title and Conveyance unto the said Samuel Ogle and Benjamin Tasker their Heirs and Assigns in Fee simple upon the Trusts herein before referred to of all and singular the Premisses in and by the said Indentures of Lease and Release mentioned or intended to be passed or granted away the said Joseph Nicholson Benjamin Nicholson and Margaret his Wife Samuel Nicholson and Elizabeth his Wife hereby giving their full and whole Power and Authority in the Premisses unto the said Attorneys and Attorney Jointly and Severally and Ratifying and Confirming (and) |
