145) Accept a Grant and Release of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his Heirs to and for such Uses Intents and Purposes as shall be therein expressed In Witness whereof the parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and Seals the day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered in Presence of Igrt Digges Seal Ch.a Hammond Sam Chamberlaine On the back of the aforegoing Lease was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) On the second day of June Anno Dom 1751 the within named Ignatius Digges appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Benedict Calvert Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided 5 Recorded July 1.st 1751 Robert Gordon Ex.d This Indenture made the third day of June in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty one Between Ignatius Digges of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Benedict Calvert of the City of Annapolis and Province afsd Esquire of the other part Whereas by Indentures of Lease and Release bearing date Respectively on or about the Seventeenth and eighteenth days of February in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and forty five made or mentioned to be made between a certain Samuel Hyde late of London Merchant Deceased by the Name of Samuel Hyde of Rood Lane London Merchant of the one part and Charles Lord Baltimore of the other part he the said Samuel Hyde for the Consideration therein mentioned did Grant Bargain Sell Alien Remise Release and Confirm unto him the said Charles Lord Baltimore his Heirs and Assigns all that Plantation or Tract of Land called his Lordships Kindness Containing by Estimation Six Thousand Seven hundred Acres of Land be the same more or less and also all that other Plantation or Tract of Land called and known by the Name of The Several Tracts Containing by Estimation two Thousand five hundred Acres be the same more or less together with all Messuages or Tenements Farms Lands Houses Settlements Sheds Workhouses Offices Works Buildings Edifices and Appurtenances standing lyeing upon or within the said Plantation or Tracts or Parcels of Land thereby Granted or Released or intended so to be and upon every or any part thereof together with all Orchards Gardens Meadows Marshes Inclosures Wastes Waste Grounds Woods Underwoods Trees Ways Waters Water Courses Easements Profits Commodities & Advantages whatsoever to the said Plantations or Tracts of Land and Premisses or any part thereof belonging or any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues Yearly and other Profits of all and Singular the (said) |
