       hereunto Annexed appears and did by Virtue of the Power and Authority Vested in
       them by the said Power of Attorney Acknowledged the same Deed to be the Act and
       Deed of the said Samuel Bonham and Tamlinson his Wife and the Lands and
       Premisses therein Bargained & Sold to be the Right Estate and Title of the said Henry
       Garrett his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the Purport and Intent of the said
       Deed and true Intent & meaning thereof and according to the Act of Assembly
15   of the Province of Maryland Taken & Acknowledged this Thirtieth Day of

Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty fifth Day of January in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and
       fifty Between James Macdonald of Frederick County Farmer of the one part and Edward Dorsey of
       Annapolis in Ann Arundel County Gentl of the other part Witnesseth That the said James Macdonald
       for and in Consideration of the Sums of Twenty eight Pounds Current Money of Maryland and Seven
       Pounds four Shillings Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said Edward
       Dorsey before the ensealing and delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged
       he the said James MacDonald hath granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by
       these Presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Edward Dorsey
       and his Heirs All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Bite the Biter lying and being in Frederick
       County Containing One hundred and forty four Acres of Land more or less which said Tract or parcel
       of Land was Surveyed and laid out for the said James Macdonald on the third Day of June in the Year
       of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and forty nine and all and singular the Houses & Buildings
       Orchards Fences and Meadows thereunto belonging and all the Right Estate Interest Claim and
       Demand whatsoever of him the said James Macdonald of in and to all and Singular the Premisses
       and every part and parcel of them To have and to hold the said Land and Premisses herein before
       mentioned and intended to be hereby Granted with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the
       said Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns forever And the said James Macdonald for himself and his
       Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs the said Tract or Parcel of Land and all and Singular ^other^ the Premisses with their
       and every of their Appurtenances unto him the said Edw.d Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns against all
       Persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and defend by these Presents Provided always and
       these Presents are upon Condition nevertheless that if the said James Macdonald his Ex.rs or
       Adm.rs shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the said Edward Dorsey his Ex.rs Adm.rs
       or Assigns the said Sums of Twenty eight Pounds Current Money of Maryland and Seven Pounds
       four Shillings Sterling on the Twenty fifth day of January which shall be in the Year of our
       Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty three with Legal Interest for the same from the date
       hereof together with the Charges of Drawing and Recording this Conveyance then this present
       Indenture and the Estate hereby made shall Cease and Determine and the Lands and Premisses
       become the Right and Estate of the said James Macdonald & his Heirs any thing herein Contained
       to the Contrary in any wise notwithstanding And the said James Macdonald for himself his
       Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs and every of them doth Covenant ^Grant^ and Agree to and with the said Edward
       Dorsey his Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these Presents That the said James Macdonald shall and will
       well and truly pay the said Sums of Twenty eight Pounds Current Money of Maryland and seven
       Pounds four Shillings Sterling at the day of Payment afs.d with legal Interest for the same
       from the date hereof according to the true Intent and meaning of these Presents In Witness
       whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and seals
