       Then came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices
       of the Provincial Court of Maryland All the Parties to the within
       Deed who acknowledged the same as their Act and Deed for
       the Uses Intents and Purposes therein mentioned according
7 1/2 to Law
                            Taken and acknowledged the day and Year afs.d

Ex.d This Indenture made this 19.th Day of July in the Year
       of our Lord God One Thousand seven Hundred forty and nine
       by and Between John Hanson the Younger and Jane his Wife of
       Charles County in the Province of Maryland on the one part &
       Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in the said Province
       Chyrurgeon on the other Part Witnesseth that Whereas the
       said Charles Carroll by a Writ of ad quod Damnum out of
       the Chancery Court of Maryland and among other Lands
       Fifty nine Acres of a Tract of Land called Buck Range in
       Baltimore County Condemned for an Iron Work Three Hundred
       & fifty Acres of which Buck Range became the Right of
       Alexander Contee of Prince Georges County who by Will
       Devised the same to his Daughter Jane who Intermarried with
       the said John Hanson and is party to these Presents The
       Remainder of which Tract of Land called Buck Range
       being Conveyed by the Heir of the Devisee and Patentee of
       the same John Faning to the said Charles Carroll but in
       as much as by the Will of the same John Faning the first
       Choice is left to Benoni Fanning the Devisee under whom
       the said Contee claimed and Whereas the said John Hanson and
       Jane his Wife make Choice of Three Hundred & fifty Acres
