61 Deliver up the same; I give full power to my said Attorney to proceed against them according to the Laws and Customs of Maryland or according to the directions of the several Acts of Parliament against forceable Entryes and forceable Detainours as the Nature of the Case or Cases shall require and I give full power to my s.d Attorney To acquitt and Discharge And Out of prison to Release any power by him Impleaded or Imprisoned on account af.d as also on the payment of any sum or sums of money or Tobacco or other Commodity by him Accepted of as the purchase money for all or any part of the said Lands to give full and ample Rec.ts and Discharges for the same; Thereby Rattifieing and confirming What my s.d attorney shall do in and about the premisses as fully & Amply as if I myself now personally Present In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seale this 22.th Day of December Anno Domini 1740 his John I Gray Signed Sealed and Mark Delivered in the presence of Josephus Morray Joseph Cromwell Katherine Risteau Balt County fs December the 22.th 1740 Then came the within Evidences Josephus Murray Joseph Cromwell and Katherine Risteau & acknowledged that they saw the within Joseph Gray Signe & Deliver the within Letter of Attorney before 3 1/2 John Risteau Recorded May 9.th 1745 |
