609) against him the said Darby Ryan his Heirs and Assigns and all Persons claiming by from or under ^him^ or any of them shall and will Warrant and defend In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeable set their Hands and Seals the day and Year first above his Written Darby D Ryan Seal Sealed and delivered mark in the Presence of Jn.o Brice H Woodward On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endors'd Viz.t Received July the first 1749 of Edward Dorsey the Sum of Twenty nine Pounds Eight Shillings Current Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned his Witness Darby D Ryan Jn.o Brice mark H Woodward Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within mentioned Darby Ryan and acknowledged the within Deed of Bargain and Sale as his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Edward Dorsey and his Heirs according to the true intent and meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly in that case made and Provided Acknowledged before me this 1.st July 1749 Jn.o Brice July the 5.th 1749 Received of M.r Edward Dorsey two Shill.s Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned fifty Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission 6 1/2 from Benj.a Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey Recorded July 9.th 1749 |
