       to the Tenor of the same and the Act in that case made and

Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents that I Joseph Yates of Worcester County in
       the Province of Maryland Merchant for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two
       hundred and fifty Pounds Current Money of Maryland to me in hand paid by
       Thomas Williamson of the City of Annapolis in the Province afs.d Ropemaker
       have Bargained Sold Aliened Transferred and made Over and by these Presents
       do Bargain Sell Alien Transferr and make Over unto the said Thomas his
       Executors Administrators and Assigns all my Right Title Property Claim and
       Interest of in and to a Certain Sloop Named Samuel of Maryland whereof
       Thomas Clifton is at Present Master being a Square Sterned Vessel of the
       Burthen of about Twenty five Tons was Built in Worcester County in the
       Province afs.d in the Year One Thousand seven hundred forty and Nine And I
       the said Joseph Yates to the said Thomas Williamson his Executors Administrators
       and Assigns from any manner of Person or Persons Claiming or which
       hereafter may Claim any Right or Property thereto will and hereby doth to
       the said Thomas his Executors Adm.rs and Assigns Warrant and Defend for
       Ever In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this
       twelfth Day of April One Thousand seven hundred forty Nine
       Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of            Joseph Yeates   Seal

          On the Back of the aforegoing Bill of Sale was thus Endorsed Viz.t
       13.th April 1749 Came Joseph Yates within mentioned & acknowledged the
2 1/2 within Bill of Sale according to an Act of Assembly in such Case made and
