       Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the
       within Named Gideon Howard and Lydia his Wife and did acknowledge
       this Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Contained to
       be the Right and Estate of the within Named John Worthington
       and the said Lydia being privately Examined out of the hearing
       of her husband gave her free Consent in Barr of her Dower
       acknowledged according to Act of Assembly in that Case made &
       Provided

       Jan.ry the 27.th 1748 Received of M.r John Worthington the Sum
       of Two Pounds two Shillings and six pence half penny
       Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alen.a fine on the
       within mentioned One Thousand and Sixty three Acres of     
       Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his
11 1/2 said Lordships Agent and Receiver General
       Recorded January 31.st 1748/9            Rich.d Dorsey

X.d Annapolis Oct.r 14.th 1742
                                                 I hereby Impower Michael Macnemara
       Gent to be my Lawfull Attorney to Act for me in all Respects as
       fully and Amply as if I was Personally present in all Causes
       Matters and Things against all Persons within this Province with
       whom I have or may have any Disputes particularly in Regard
       to the Setling an Account with William Ghiselin and Recovering
       and Receiving the Balance due to me from him and also demanding
       and Recovering from Sam.l Stringer a Negroe Wench named
       Philis belonging to me to Demand, Recover, ^or^ Receive, any Sum or
       Sums or other Effects belongings to me Discharges to give and to do
       and Act for me in every matter or Thing as fully as I could
       myself Hereby Revoking and making Null and Void all
       other Power or Powers of Attorney by me heretofore made to any
       Person or Persons within this Province In Witness whereof
       I hereto set my hand and Seal this 14.th of Oct.r 1742
