54 Enure that is to say that the said Thomas Jennings and all & every other person or persons which shall be seised of the premises or any part thereof by force or virtue of the said common Recovery or Recoverys shall Stand & be Seised thereof & of every part & parcell thereof with their & every of their appurts to the only use & behoof of the said John Smith Prather his heirs & assigns & to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the said parties have hereunto Sett their hands & seales the Day & year first above written Sealed and Delivered Tho.s Edmonston the words or more being inserted betwixt J.oh Smith Prather the 10.th & 11.th lines before Sealing & Delivery Tho.s Jennings in the presence of George Bell On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t) Witham Marshe April the 14.th 1745 then received the Sum of five Shillings Current money of Maryland of & from the within named John Smith Prather (being the Consideration money within mentioned I say rec.d P me S 0 5 0 Witness April the 28.th 1745 Then came the within named Thomas Edmonston John Smith Prather and Thomas Jennings before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court and acknowledged the within Deed to be their Act and Deed according to the Form of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided John Hepburn 9 Recorded April 26.th 1745 Vide Recover recorded in Lib E I N.o 9 fol 362 |
