535) Officers Fees Recorded Nov.r 28.th 1748 Jn.o Bullen November the 28.th 1748 Then came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Benjamin Beall and took the Oath directed by the Act of Assembly Entituled an Act for amending the Staple of Tobacco for preventing Frauds in his Majestys Customs and for the Limitation of Officers Fees as a Deputy or under Clerk to M.r Richard Burdus Cheif Clerk of the Secretary's Office and Provincial Court of the Province of Maryland Jn.o Brice 1 Recorded Nov.r 28.th 1748 Alienation fynes and fees made out for the Year 1748 Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents That I William Whetstone of the Parish of Saint Anne in the County of Middlesex Shipwright have made ordained Constituted and Appointed and by these Presents do make Ordain Constitute and Appoint ^my Trusty freind^ Robert North of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland in America Merchant my true and lawfull attorney for me in my Name and to my use to Ask Demand Sue for recover and receive of and from and Compound with all and every Person and Persons whatsoever in Maryland afs.d whom it shall or may Concern all Debts Sum and Sums of Money Goods Wares Effects Merchandizes Claims and Demands whatsoever now due owing or belonging or which shall at any time hereafter become due owing or belonging to me by Virtue or means of my Intermarriage with Mary my now Wife late the Widow Relict and Executrix of the last Will and Testament in Writing of Joseph Penhallow (late) |
