       Mem.d that on the Thirteenth Day of August Anno Dom 1748
       the within mentioned Daniel Dulany and Henrietta Maria his
       Wife acknowledged the within Deed according to the directions of the
       Act of Assembly in such Cases Provided before me William
       Rogers Esq.r one of the Justices of the Provincial Court and
       I do hereby Certifie that I Examined the said Henrietta Maria
       Privately out of the Hearing of her said Husband whether she
       did make her acknowledgment of the same Willingly and freely and
       without being Induced thereto by fears or threats of or Ill Usage
       by her husband or fear of his Displeasure who declared that she
       did freely and Willingly make such acknowledgment w^i^thout
       being Induced thereto by fear or th^r^eats of or Ill Usage by her said
5 1/2 Husband or fear of his Displeasure

X.d This Indenture made the thirteenth day of August in the
       Year of our Lord Seventeen Hundred and forty Eight Between
       Daniel Dulany of Annapolis Esq.r and Henrietta Maria his Wife
       Daughter and Heir of Philemon Loyd late of Queen Annes County
       Esq.r Deceased of the one part and Richard Bennett of Queen Annes
       County Esq.r of the other part Whereas the said Philemon Loyd was
       Seized in fee Tail of a Tract or Parcell of Land in Queen Annes
       County called Loyds Insula Containing Seventeen hundred and Ninety
       five Acres and in Fee Simple of one other Tract called the Purchase
       Adjoining to the former Tract and Containing one Thousand Acres &
       both Tracts together Commonly called or known  by the name of
       Island or Loyds Island in Wye River And Whereas the said
       Philemon Loyd was also Seized in his Demesne as of fee^of^ats
       in Two Tracts or Parcells of Land in Talbot County one Containing
       One hundred and Nine Acres part of Woolmans Heritage and the
