479) Seventy three Acres) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 1 Recorded Sept.r 6.th 1748 Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents That I Robert Stebbing of Cornhill London Linnen Draper Administrator of All and Singular the Goods and Chattels and Credits which were of John Sargent late of Hasting in the County of Sussex Mariner deceased with his Will annexed Have made Ordained Constituted Authorized and Appointed And by these Presents Do make Ordain Constitute Authorize and Appoint the Reverand M.r Charles Lake of Maryland in America my true and Lawfull Attorney for me and in my Name Place & stead to Ask, Demand & require sue for Recover and Receive of and from M.r Alexander Parran and of and from all Persons of what Degree or Quality soever whom it doth shall or may Concern in Maryland or else where in any part of America all and every the Debt or Debts Sum and Sums of Money Goods Wares Merchandizes Estate and Effects now Remaining due Owing and Belonging to the said John Sargent or his Estate and which are now due owing and Payable or belonging to me as his Administrator as afores.d And upon Receit or Satisfaction made by such said several Persons or either of them whom it may Concern of such Debts Estate and Effects or any or either of them or any part thereof to give due and legal Acquittances or other Sufficient Discharges for the same or such part thereof only as my said Attorney shall receive with Power for my said Attorney to bring to a Reckoning & Ballance all Accounts relating thereto and if Occasion be to Compound Conclude (and) |
