       Act and Deed &c the Within Indenture & the Land &
       Premisses with mentioned to ^be^ the Just Right of the said
       within mentioned James Smith his Heirs & Assigns for
       Ever At the same time Came Mary the wife of the with
       mentioned William Cavenough who being Privately examined
       by each of us did acknowledge that she voluntarily gave
       up all her Right and Claim of Dower to the abovesaid
       James Smith his Heirs & Assigns for Ever & she assured
       us she did it free & of her own good will and without
       any fear of her husbands displeasure & she desired y.e
       same may be Recorded In Testimony thereof we have
       hereunto set our hands                      Tho Aisquith

       This 3.d day of June 1748 then Rec.d of James Smith
       the within sum of forty pounds Sterling as Witness

S.t Marys    Lawfully authorized and assigned In Testimony whereof
County seal I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed the Seal of the
