Ex.d This Indenture made this Second day of June Anno Dom
       One Thousand Seven hundred & Forty Eight Between Charles
       Craycroft of Charles County Planter of the one Part And Charles
       Carroll Esq.r of the City of Annapolis on the other part
       Witnesseth Whereas Charles Craycroft by Deed bearing date
       the Twelfth day of July One Thousand Seven hundred and
       thirty five and Recorded in Charles County Records the 8.th day
       of August 1735 Lib S fol 96 & 97 did Mortgage unto the
       said Charles Carroll All those Two Tracts or Parcells of
       Land in the said Deed described Viz.t five hundred acres of
       Land being part of a Tract of Land called Trumans Place
       Also all that Tract of Land called the Denial containing
       one hundred Acres lying in Charles County Now this
       Indenture Witnesseth That the s.d Charles Craycroft
       for and in Consideration of the sum of Three hundred &
       Twenty Three Pounds Sterling to him in hand paid by the
       s.d Charles Carroll before the Ensealing and Delivery of
       these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge
       Doth hereby Remise Release and for ever Quit claim
       of in and to those Two Tracts or Parcells ^of^ Land called Trumans
       Place and Denial to him the s.d Charles Carroll his Heirs
       and assigns for Ever To have and to hold the said Two
       Tracts or Parcells of Land called Trumans Place and
       Denial as af.d with all and Singular the Improvem.ts Conveniences
       and Advantages to the said Two Tracts or Parcells
       of Land called Trumans Place and Denial belonging or in
       any wise appertaining unto him the said Charles Carroll
       his Heirs and Assigns for Ever In Witness whereof the said
