438) it meets with the Tract of Land that formerly belonged M.rs Joseph To have and to hold the same land & all & singular the Premisses hereby granted with their & every of their Appurtenances unto the said Robert Harding his Heirs & Assignes for Ever In Witness whereof the Partys first abovementioned have set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year abovementioned Sealed & Delivered in John Whetenhall Seal the Presence of her Monica 8 Whetenhall Seal Mark Ann Young On the back of the aforegoing Elizabeth Rozar Deed was thus Endorst (Viz.t) Received the Consideration Money within mentioned by Us Witness Ann Young John Whetenhall Elizabeth Rozar Maryland May y.e 18 1748 Then Came the within named John Whetenhall before me & acknowledged the within Deed & the Land & Premisses therein Contained to be the right & Estate of the within named Robert Harding And the same Day the within named Monica Whitenall being examined out of the hearing of her said Husband likewise before me acknowledged the same according to the form & Direction of the Act of Assembly for that Purpose B Young Reced (June the 1.st 1748) of M.r Robert Harding Eight Shillings Sterling for his Lordships uses (it being the Alienation fyne on the within mentioned Land supposing the Same to Contain but four hundred Acres) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin (Tasker) |
