416) Wise Esq.r and the Rev.d Edward Tart Clerk Justices of the peace for this County or any Two of them Be and they are hereby nominated and appointed to Contract with any Person ^or^ Persons for the Transportation of the said Several Persons Ordered to be Transported as af.d and to Cause such Security to be taken as the Statutes in that Case made and provided Direct to be taken by Order of Court and also to Order them to be delivered Pursuant to such Contracts to the Person or Persons Contracting for them or to his or their assigns By the Court 39 s.ds John Blincowe Clerk of the Assizes Recorded May 9.th 1748 Ex.d Maryland fs This Indenture made this fifth day of April Anno Dom Seventeen hundred and forty eight Between John Buck of Baltimore County Planter of the one part and James Walker of Ann arundell County Surgeon of the other part Witnesseth that Whereas Charles the second Absolute Lord and Propry of the Province of Maryland af.d by his Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the said Province did on the Twenty fifth day of April Seventeen hundred and Seventeen Grant unto John Buck of Baltimore County af.d Father of the af.d John Buck all that Tract or Parcell of Land called Bucks Luck lying and being then in Baltimore but now in Ann Arundell County on the South side of Patapsco River Beginning at a Bounded White Oak standing near a Glade called Cabin Glade and near the West North West Line of a Tract of Land called Andover Containing and then laid out for Sixty nine Acres of Land more or less as by the said Patent now on Record in his Lordships Land Office Lib.r P L N.o 4 folio 276 May more fully and at Large Appear Now this Indenture (further) |
