       and Henry Young did settle and some Cultivations in three
       or four Different Settlements lying Contiguous together
       without making any Rights thereto by means whereof the
       Common Warrant could not Effect the same he therefore
       Humbly prayed upon Surrendering up the Common Warrant
       af.d he might have a S^p^ecial Warrant for that Quantity
       in lieu thereof to Effect & Secure the same & that on return
       of a Certificate of Survey thereof he complying with all
       Requisites Usual in such Cases might have his
       Lordship's Grant issued unto him thereon, which was
       Granted him & accordingly a Warrant on the fifteenth
       day of September seventeen Hundred & forty two unto
       him for that Purpose did issue, But the said Warrant
       not being Executed within the time therein Limitted it
       was on the twelfth day of August seventeen Hundred
       and forty six renewed and Continued in force for six
       Months longer from that date In Pursuance whereof
       it is Certifyed into our Land Office that there is surveyed
       and laid out for and in the Name of him the said William
       Cumming Esq.r six Hundred and sixty eight Acres
       of Vacant Land, one Hundred and fifty eight acres
       whereof Rights were made good at the time of Granting
       said Warrant and for the Remaining five Hundred & eighteen
       Acres the said William Cumming has paid and
       Satisfyed unto Benjamin Tasker Esq.r our Present      
       Agent and Receiver General for our use as well the
       Sum of Twenty five Pounds eighteen Shillings Sterling
       Caution for the said Vacancy as the Sum of ten Shillings
       Sterling for some Improvements mentioned to be made
       thereon according to Charles Lord Baron of Baltimore
       our Grandfather of Noble Memory his Instructions to
       Charles Carroll Esq.r his then Agent Bearing date
       at London the Twelfth day of September seventeen
       Hundred and Twelve and Registred in our Secretarys
       Office of our said Province Together with a Paragraph
       of our Instructions bearing date at London the
