       Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein
       mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within
       mentioned Charles Carroll Esq.r his Heirs and
       Assigns forever at which same time came Elizabeth
       the Wife of the said Matthew Hawkins and being
       by us privately Examined apart from her said
       Husband acknowledged her right of Dowre therein
       and Declared that she did ^the same^ Voluntaryly and freely
       not being Compelled thereto through any Threats or ill
       usage of her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure
