380) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorst (Viz) Memorandum that on the day and Year within mentioned Came Robert Love Pitstow party to the within Deed Acknowledged & Declared the within Deed to be his Act & Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right title and Estate of the within Named Thomas Sligh & Thomas Sheredine their heirs & Assigns for Ever according to the Tenor and Purpose of the same Deed before the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices for Baltimore County Received the day and Year within William Hammond of Thomas Sligh & Thomas Sheredine the Sum of fifty pounds Current Cha.s Ridg^e^ly money in full for the Consideration money within mentioned I say Received P me his Robert Love X Pitstow Test mark William Hammond In Testimony that the above William Hammond and Charles Bal.t Ridgely who hath Subscribed Their names to the above Acknowledgment Co.ty were at the time thereof two of his Lordships Justices for Baltimore Seal County duly Authorized & Qualified I have hereunto set my hand & Affixed the Public Seal of the County aforesaid this Ninth Day of October Anno Dom 1747 T Risteau Clk Bal.t Co.ty Court Received of Maj.r Thomas Sheredine Two Shillings & six pence Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within Mentioned One Hundred & twenty Acres of Land) by Virtue of 9 1/2 sides a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey Recorded the 12.th day of Novem.r 1747 Ex.d This Indenture made the 28.th day of October in the Year of our Lord Seventeen Hundred & forty seven Between John Gaither |
