345) Lands Called Pistole Thickett & Addition to Pistole Thickett the Parts thereby Conveyed I say reced by me for Use of the Right Honble the Lord Proprietary this fifth Day of October 1747 7 1/2 sides Recorded October 5.th 1747 Benj.a Tasker Ex.d This Indenture made the Nineteenth Day of October in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred & forty seven Between Edward Skidmore of Kent County Planter of the one Part and John Waltham of the same County Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Edward Skidmore for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Current Money by the said John Waltham to him the said Edward Skidmore in hand paid at or before the ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth hereby release acquitt and Discharge the said John Waltham his Executors Adm.rs & Assignes Hath Granted Bargained & Sold and by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain and Sell unto the said John Waltham his Exors Adm.rs & Assigns All that Parcel of Land and Plantation being Part of a Tract of Land called Skidmore or Scudmore lying on the Bay side formerly in Cecil but now in Kent County af.d Beginning at a Bounded Sycamore Tree standing on the Bay side and on the dividing Line of the same Tract made between Edward and Michael Skidmore and running from thence down the Bay South by West one hundred & Eighty and five Perches to a Marked Pock Hicory the second Bounded Tree of the Original Tract af.d then East three hundred & Twenty Perches then North by East one hundred & Eighty five Perches till it Intersect the af.d Division Line made between Edward (and) |
