344) Except that Part of the said Pistoles Thickett heretofore Conveyed by him to the said Charles And that he the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns for Ever shall & may peaceably have hold use occupy & enjoy the said bargained Premisses And the said John Harryman Doth likewise Covenant & Agree to warrant & Defend the same as well against him the said John as against all manner of Person or Persons from by or under him the said John or his Heirs claiming or to claim In Witness whereof & the aforegoing Premisses the said Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written his Sealed & Delivered John I Harryman seal mark in Presence of On the back of the aforegoing R.d Croxall Deed was thus endorst (Vizt) J Hamilton Received of Charles Carroll the Sum W.m Beaty of fifty Pounds Sterling being the Consideration within mentioned I say received by me this 19.th Day of September 1747 his Witness R.d Croxall John I Harryman mark J Hamilton Septemb.r 19.th 1747 Then Came before W.m Beaty Us Two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County the within mentioned John Harryman & acknowledged the within Deed & the Lands & Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate ^of^ D.r Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assignes for Ever according to the Act in that Case made and Provided W.m Hammond Sam.l Owings Received of Doctor Charles Carroll five Shillings & Six Pence Sterling an Alienation fyne on the within (Lands) |
