Ex.d      Maryland fs.t This Indenture Tripartite made this
       Tenth day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven
       hundred and forty Seven Between Thomas Howard of Charles
       County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the first part
       Rebeccah Howard of the County and Province af.d Widow of the second
       Part and Charles Craycraft of the County and Province afores.d
       Gentleman of the third part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Howard
       for the Docking Barring and Cutting off all Estates Tail and
       Remainder in Tail of and in that part of a Tract of Land lying in
       Prince Georges County called Brooks Chance Included and Contained
       in the following Lines (Viz.t) Begining at a Bounded Black
       Oack standing on the West of a Small Branch that runeth into Brooke
       Creek it being a Bound Tree of Brooks Chances and of a Tract of
       Land taken up by Thomas Brooke Esquire called the Vineyard &
       Runing thence West and by North Two hundred and twenty Perches
       then North North East thirty Six perches then North thirty Degrees
       Westerly twenty Eight perches to Mattapony Main run which
       falleth into Brookes Creek af.d then down and with the said Mattapony
       main run as it runeth to the Mouth of a Branch falling into the
       said Run and which goeth up by the Plantation where John Howard
       lately Dwell then up and with the af.d Branch as far as that a West &
