       Two hundred & Eight pounds Sterling and five Shillings Currency with
       Legal Interest as af.d and the said Thomas Barkley doth further
       Covenant Promise and agree for himself his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns
       to and with the said James Russell his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assigns
       that he the said Thomas Barkley his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns
       shall and will at any time or times hereafter at the Reasonable
       Request Cost & Charges of the said James Russell His Heirs Exors
       Adm.rs or Assigns make doe and Execute any further and ^or^ other Act or
       Deed or Deeds for the better Conveying or more sure making of the
       aforesaid Premisses to the said James Russell His Heirs Exors
       Adm.rs and Assigns subject Nevertheless to the af.d Provisoe
       And Lastly the said Thomas Barkley for himself his Heirs Ex.rs
       Adm.rs and Assigns Doth hereby Covenant Promise Grant and
       agree to and with the said James Russell his Heirs Exors Adm.rs
       and Assigns That he the said Thomas Barkley His Heirs Exors
       Adm.rs and Assigns the said Premisses unto him the said James
       Russell his Heirs Exors Adm.rs and Assigns against all ^Person &^ persons
       whatsoever shall and will forever Warrant and Defend In
       Witness whereof the said Parties have hereunto set their
       Hands & Seals the Day & Year first above Written
       Sealed & Delivered in presence of
                                                                   Thomas Barkley   Seal
       John Hepburn, John Wye

       On the Back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus Endorst (Viz.t)
       Received the Day & Year within Mentioned of the within         l
       Named James Russell the several sums of Two                     206
       hundred & Eight pounds sterling & five Curr being the              5 s
       Consideration Money within specified I say received by
       Witness John Hepburn                        Thomas Barkley

       27.th March 1747  Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within Named Tho.s
11   Barkley & Acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act & Deed &
       the Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Estate Right & Title & Property of
       the said James Russell according to the True meaning thereof
