246) 16.th febry 1746 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named George Steuart and Ann his wife and the said Ann being examined out of the hearing of her husband declared she Consented of her own free Will to the making over the within mentioned Land and Premisses and the said George Steuart Acknowledged this Deed and the Land therein mentioned to be the right of the within named Thomas Bladen Esquire his Heirs & Assigns forever according to the form of the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided Robert Gordon Received of his Excellency Thomas Bladen Esquire for the use of the Right Honourable the Lord Propry twenty Shillings Sterling being for the Aleination fine of the within five hundred Acres of Land this 16.th Febry 1746/7 Recorded the 17.th Febry 1746 Benj.a Tasker 7 Ex.d Maryland fs February 23.th 1746 Know all men by these presents that We Francis Lee and John Kilbee of the Province of Maryland Mech.ts for diverse good Causes and Considerations us hereunto moving have made Ordained Authorized and Appointed and by these presents do make Ordain ^Authorize^ and Appoint Mess.rs John Philpott and Co Merchants in London our true and Lawfull Attorneys for us and in our Name and to our Use to Ask Demand Sue for Recover all such sum and sums of money Debts and Duties whatsoever which now are due & owing unto us the said Francis Lee and John Kilbee on Acc.t of ^an^ Insurance made on the Snow Flying Fish for Four hundred Pounds Sterling money of Great Britain and to have Use and take all Lawfull ways and means in our Name or otherwise for Recovery thereof by Attachment Arrest [illegible] or otherwise and to Grow and Compound (for) |
