       On the Back of the aforegoing Power of Attorney was thus
       Endorst (Viz)

       Oct.r 13.th 1743  Then Came before me one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court the within named John
       Magier and acknowledged the within Power of Attorney
       to Captain Darby Lux to be his Act and Deed

Ex.d         This Indenture made this Sixteenth day of
       february in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred forty
       and Six Between George Steuart of the City of Annapolis
       Gentleman of the one part and his Excellency Thomas Bladen
       Esquire Governour of the Province of Maryland of the other
       part Witnesseth that the said George Steuart for and in Consideration
       of the sum of five Shillings Sterling to him in
       hand paid by the said Thomas Bladen Esquire before the
       Sealing and delivery of these presents ^hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed & Confirmed and by these presents^ doth grant Bargain
       Sell Alein enfeoffe and Confirm unto the said Thomas Bladen
       Esquire his Heirs and Assigns forever all that tract or parcel
       of Land lying in Baltimore County Originally on the fifteenth
       day of August Sixteen hundred Ninty and Six Granted unto
       a Certain Robert Carse for the Quantity of five hundred Acres
       who dying without Heirs the same became Escheat and
       upon a resurvey thereof the said tract before mentioned called
       Carse's forrest was again Viz the fourth day of September in the
       Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred forty and Six
       Granted unto him the said George Steuart by the Name of Carses
       forrest under the Metes and Bounds following lying and being
       in Baltimore County on the North side Patapsco river in
       the Woods up Jone's falls and in a fork of the said falls above
       Captain Oultons Garrison Begining at a Bounded White
       Oak It being a Bounded tree of William Cockey's standing
       in the falls and being the South and West bounded tree of Cockeys
       Land called Cockeys Forrest and runing up the South West
