       On the Back of the aforegoing Release was thus Endorst (Viz.t)
       Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of
       Tho.s Wilkinson, William Bishop
      
       Be it remembered that on the Twenty fourth day of July
       Anno Dom one Thousand Seven Hundred forty and six
       Ernault Hawkins and Jane his Wife and Parties to the
       within Written Deed of Release personnally came and Appeared
       before us two of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary
       his Justices for Queen Anns County and did severally acknowledge
       the same to be their Act and Deed to and for the Use
       intent and Purposes therein mentioned and Expressed And
       the same Jane having been by us privately examined out
       of the sight and hearing of her said Husband declared that
       she made the said Acknowledgment and Executed and
       became a Party to the same deed of her own free Will and
       Consent without being Induced thereto by fear or Threats
       of or ill Usage from her Husband or for fear of his Displeasure
       In Testimony whereof we have hereunto set
       our hands the Day and year above Written

Ex.d         This Indenture made this Nineteenth
       Day of September in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven
       Hundred and forty six Between John Emory Jun.r of Queen
       Anns County Gentleman of the one part Mathew Bead
       of the same County Planter of the second part & Thomas
       Hynson Wright of the same County Gentleman of the
       Third Part Whereas by and upon a Writ of entry upon
       Disseizin in the post returnable before the Justices of the
       Provincial Court the Second Tuesday in September now past &
       the said John Emory did Demand against the same Thomas
       Hynson Wright all that nethermost Moiety of half part of
       that Tract of Plantable Land lying and being in Queen
       Anns County afs.d commonly called Reading & afterwards
       called now Reading lying to the Westward of a line drawn
       from a bounded Red Oak standing at the Head of a Branch
       called Deep Branch and running North Thirty one
