Ex.d                  This Indenture Made this Twenty
       third Day of April in Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven     
       Hundred & fourty Six Between Charles Carroll of the City
       of Annapolis in Annarundel County the Province of Maryl.d
       Gentleman of the one Part And Thomas Harrison of Baltimore
       County in the Province af.d Merchant of the other Part
       Witnesseth Whereas Charles Carroll Esq.r Late of the
       City & County of Ann Arundell afs.d Deceased by his Last
       Will & Testament in Writing bearing Date the first Day of
       December Seventeen Hundred & Eighteen among other things
       therein Contained Bequeathed all his Lands in Baltimore
       County to his son's Charles & Daniel As Also all his
       Mortgages as by the said Will duly Proved and Recorded may
       Appear And the said Daniel Carroll by his Last Will and
       Testament in Writing bearing Date the Twelfth Day April
       Seventeen Hundred & Thirty four Did Will & Authorize Char.ls
       Carroll party to this Deed to Sell all his Lands which should
       not in any one Tract ^Exceed^ five Hundred Acres as by the ^s.d^ Will
       duly Proved and Recorded may Appear Now this
       Indenture Witness^eth^ that the said Charles Carroll
       for and in Consideration of Five Pounds Ster Money to
       him in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged
       And thereof Doth hereby Acquit & Discharge the said
       Thomas Harrison his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these presents
       Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and
       Confirmed unto him the said Thomas Harrison his Heirs &
       Assigns One Lott of Land lying & being in Baltimore
       Town in Baltimore County af.d Commonly known &
       Distinguished by ^the^ Number Twenty Together with ^all^ the
       Rights Proffits ^Benefitts^ Priviledges & Appurtenances thereunto
       belonging or in any wise Appurtaining To Have & to
       Hold the Af.d Lott of Land with ^the premisses &^ Appurtenances thereunto
       belonging or in any wise Appurtaining unto him the said
