187) Memorandum that on the 22.d Day of July 1746 appeared before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Prov.l Court the Honourable Benj.a Tasker Esq.r who by Virtue of a Power of Attorney acknowledged the within Lease for a year according to the Act of Assembly in such Case made & Provided recorded July 22.d 1746 Jn.o Brice 8 Ex.d This Indenture made the Eighteenth Day of February in the Nineteenth year of the reighn of our Sovereighn Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so fourth & in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and forty five Between Samuel Hyde of Rood Lane London Merchant of the one part and The right Honourable Charles Lord Baltimore of the Kingdom of Ireland of the other part Whereas the Said Samuel Hyde is and Stands justly & truly Indebted unto the Said Charles Lord Baltimore in the Sum of Six Thousand Eight hundred Ninety three pounds thirteen Shillings upon the Ballance of an Account had stated & subscribed by & Between them the said Samuel Hyde in order to make the said Charles Lord Baltimore Satisfaction for the said Debt Hath agreed to Convey the Lands & premisses hereinafter mentioned unto Said sum of six thousand Eight Hundred ninty three Pounds Thirteen Shillings and to release & Discharge the said Samuel Hyde of & from the Same Subject Nevertheless to the Proviso hereinafter ment.d Now this Indenture Witnesseth that for & in Consideration of the said Charles Lord Baltimore's releasing the Said Sam.l Hyde of & from the payment of the Said Sum of six thousand eight hundred thirty three Pounds thirteen Shillings & also for & in Consideration of the sum of five shillings of Lawfull money of great Britain to him the said Samuel Hyde in his well (and) |
